Responsibilities

· Liaison with clients to execute each contract including but not limited to finalize contract and get contract and/or contract amendments signed; to arrange with clients for delivery/payment according to contractual terms, etc.

· Maintain good customer relationship and being able to provide important client information

· Identify potential risks and keep them under control

· Liaising with different internal departments, regional offices for smooth contracts execution

· Tracking customer payment/delivery status and following up/escalating to ensure payment/delivery within contracted terms

· Timely updating of system, allocating spreadsheet for all shipments, and making sure all information updated in system is accurate

· Regular reporting on contract execution status to concentrate operation manager

· To cover other team members when needed

As Operator, your duties shall be specified as follows:

1) Counter and confirm buying contracts.

2) Prepare and confirm sales contracts.

3) Prepare documents instruction, voyage instruction, inspection appointment and insurance coverage.

4) Prepare discharge order, insurance invoice, freight invoice and calculate purchase and sales price/amount.

5) Demurrage calculation and claims, shortage claims.

6) Input/update and completion ERP for physical contracts.

7) Coordinate with internal colleagues, ship brokers, surveyors and other related parties to ensure smooth cargo operations.

8) Identify business risks and report to senior officer and other related parties.

9) Any other unmentioned operations work assigned by the Operation Manager or such other designated senior officer of the Company from time to time.

Job Requirement:

· Bachelor degree with major preferred in Business English, Foreign Trade or Logistics Management

· Familiarity with domestic, import and export business process, UCP600

· Understands Customs and government’s legislation re import and export of commodities

· Strong numeric and communications skills

· Being responsible, honest and diligent, and teamwork spirit

· Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, whilst maintaining high standards in terms of accuracy and quality of work

· Good command of English and Mandarin (verbal and written), to communicate with headquarter and clients
