An AutoCAD Drafter is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD based on sketches, specifications, and calculations
Revise drawings according to engineer or architect feedback
Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and company guidelines
Create layout, assembly, and detail drawings
Maintain drawing files, documentation, and version control
Collaborate with engineers, architects, project managers, and site teams
Review and verify dimensions, materials, and tolerances
Assist with shop drawings, as-built drawings, and project documentation
