Claims Executive (Marine Insurance/ Insurance Broker)

Responsibilities

• Handle and process insurance claims for clients, mainly for marine insurance matters.
• Record new claim notifications and monitor claim progress until settlement.
• Coordinate with clients, insurers, surveyors, adjusters and other related parties.
• Assist in arranging surveyors for damage assessment when required.
• Review supporting documents and bills before submission to insurers or surveyors.
• Follow up with underwriters to ensure claims are reviewed and settled fairly.
• Update clients on claim status and assist with claim-related enquiries.
• Prepare claims records, loss statistics and work with internal teams on payment or documentation matters.

Requirements:

• Diploma in any discipline.
• Candidates who possess claims, insurance or related experience will be advantageous.
• Good communication skills and able to liaise with clients and insurers.
• Meticulous, organised and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
