Accountant | GL / Full Set | Month-End Closing | Up to $5K - JL99

Position: Accountant

Working Days: 5 day a week

Working hours: 8am to 530pm

Working location: Pandan Road

Salary: $4k to $5k

Company transport will be provided (Islandwide transport)

Responsibilities

• Able to handle a full set of accounts

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements of subsidiaries, and other financial reports

• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements

• Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs

• Conducting financial investigations and audits, and preparing reports

-Oversee and review AR / AP functions including journal

• Resolving accounting discrepancies

-Support month-end and year-end closing processes

Preparing Forex schedule

• Ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance.

• Candidates with over 5 years of experience in audit firms are preferred.

• Degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
