Senior Structural Design Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Design Manager to lead the structural design and technical coordination of projects in Singapore. The successful candidate will play a key role in structural scheme development, technical management, interdisciplinary coordination, and ensuring high-quality project delivery from tender through execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead structural concept design, structural analysis, and overall technical coordination for projects in Singapore.
• Coordinate structural design with architectural, façade, MEP, and other disciplines to ensure safe, practical, and buildable structural solutions.
• Support the tender stage by preparing and optimizing structural design proposals, providing technical input and value engineering recommendations.
• Manage structural design schedules to ensure timely delivery in accordance with tender and project milestones.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and main contractors on all structural engineering matters, including technical presentations and design clarifications.
• Review and approve structural calculations, drawings, and engineering deliverables to ensure design quality, compliance, and risk control.
• Work closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless integration between design and site execution.
• Provide technical leadership and risk assessment for complex structures and major projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of structural design experience, preferably with complex or international projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural design codes, engineering analysis, and the full project lifecycle from concept design to construction.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary coordination and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to conduct technical discussions, presentations, and client communications in English.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage technical risks and ensure structural quality and safety on key projects.
• Candidates with relevant international experience are preferred. Overseas candidates with cross-cultural working experience or an international company background are also encouraged to apply.
