CAD/BIM Draftsman

Job Description

• Undertake CAD / BIM drafting work to the direction of Project Engineers / Job Captain
• Prepare and compilation of drawings
• Ensure high quality work
• Ensure compliance with office drafting standards and statutory requirements
• Ensure compliance with project constraints and budget hours
• Ensure that the transferring of information from engineers’ sketches to final drawings are accurate and complete
• Ensure compliance with office / project drawing filing systems
• Advise Job Captain / Team Leader of technical standards which requires improvement
• Assist in preparing manuals / standard details etc.
• Ensure compliance with ISO Quality Procedure Manual
• To attend meetings at site or in the office as required
• Travel to site for data collection, survey and update drawings as required
• To undertake any other duties related to the projects and office work as and when instructed by the consultant team

Job Requirement

• Minimum 3 - 5 years’ drafting experience, preferably in civil,water & environmental or infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit or equivalentBIM software
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work within a team
