As a Event Manager in the Private Bank Events Team, you will manage a portfolio of local and regional client events and, at times, contribute to larger global programs. from conception to execution, ensuring every detail aligns with our business goals and brand standards. You will bring strong Asia market knowledge and operational excellence to design experiences that are on-brand, culturally attuned, and flawlessly delivered. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and teammates, staying composed under pressure while managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
Job Responsibilities
• Design and execute high-touch client events consistent with brand standards
• Apply deep Asia knowledge of cities, venues, and trends to recommend formats, locations, experiences, and cultural nuances
• Manage end-to-end operations including calendars, budgets, vendor negotiation, contracts, invoices, and risk/process compliance
• Oversee onsite delivery including speaker and VIP guest management, vendor coordination, registration, and audio-visual/presentation needs
• Run event communications via the events platform (invitations, microsites, reminders, post-event follow-ups)
• Provide concise updates in team forums and support special projects as needed
• Travel across the Asia region as required to provide on-site support at events
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
• Minimum 5 years of experience in event management.
• Demonstrated strength in problem solving, and creative event solutions
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end event delivery (planning, logistics, and onsite execution)
• Experience managing budgets, vendor negotiation, contracts, and invoices
• Ability to manage risk/process compliance as part of event delivery
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and event management platforms
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience liaising with senior leadership and delivering against tight deadlines
• Ability to prioritize concurrent projects and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders
• Flexibility to work extended hours and travel frequently across Asia
• Bachelor’s degree
