Audit Manager [Central]

Working Hour: Mon - Fri, 8.30am - 5.30pm

Our client, is an established accounting firm that is part of an international network of independent accounting and consulting firms. They are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead audit engagements, mentor junior staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality professional services. This role is ideal for a strong leader who combines technical expertise with excellent people and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a portfolio of audit clients across various industries.
• Plan, execute, and review audit engagements to ensure compliance with Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSAs) and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise, train, and mentor audit staff throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Review working papers, financial statements, and audit reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify audit issues and provide well-reasoned recommendations to clients.
• Manage client relationships, addressing queries timely and professionally.
• Assist in practice management activities such as resource planning, workflow coordination, and process improvements.
• Support partners in business development activities when required.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA/ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 4 years of audit experience, including supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
• Strong technical knowledge of SFRS, SSAs, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• A proactive, hands-on leader who enjoys mentoring and developing audit professionals.
