Business Manager – Overseas Markets

We are looking for a talented Business Manager – Overseas Markets to join our Singapore Head Office and support the development and management of our businesses across multiple overseas markets.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop business operations across assigned overseas markets.
• Work closely with country managers, distributors and business partners to achieve sales and profitability objectives.
• Develop and implement market expansion and business development strategies.
• Prepare and monitor country sales plans, budgets, forecasts and business performance.
• Review pricing, distribution strategies, sales promotions and market development activities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and changing consumer requirements.
• Coordinate product launches and marketing initiatives with overseas country teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, partners and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Management.
• Monitor compliance with applicable trade regulations and local market requirements.
• Identify new business opportunities and recommend strategies to improve market share and profitability.
• Travel frequently to overseas markets for business reviews, market visits and partner meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, Commerce or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in international business, sales, business development or overseas market management.
• Experience in sporting goods, consumer products, footwear, apparel or FMCG will be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of international distribution and overseas market operations.
• Good commercial and analytical skills with the ability to review sales, margins, budgets and business performance.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with multicultural teams across different countries.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and business reporting.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently across overseas markets.
• Candidates should be commercially driven, independent and capable of managing multiple markets from Singapore.

Preferred Candidate Profile

We are looking for a commercially oriented professional who can operate from our Singapore Head Office and work closely with our country teams and distributors across Asia. The successful candidate should be capable of combining business planning, sales management, market development, pricing, distribution and financial analysis to drive sustainable growth across overseas markets.
