Facilities Technician (1-year contract, renewable)

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot office and plant facilities, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and fire protection systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate contractors and vendors for maintenance, repairs, inspections, and improvement works.
• Manage office/plant infrastructure, renovations, relocations, and facility improvement projects.
• Monitor utilities usage and implement energy-saving and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, fire protection, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage facility assets, maintenance records, budgets, procurement, and spare parts.
• Prepare reports and support continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

• Diploma or ITE Technical Certification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services Engineering, Mechatronics, or related disciplines.
• 2-3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building services, or a similar technician role.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and building maintenance systems.
• Experience in preventive maintenance planning, contractor/vendor management, and facilities troubleshooting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
