Technical Sales / Application Engineer (automation/valves)

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with Sales and customers to understand requirements and recommend the right products and engineering solutions.
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, troubleshooting and engineering recommendations.
• Engage with customers’ engineering and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues and identify improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations and customer training.
• Manage engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Collaborate with international principals, suppliers and internal technical teams to develop solutions and resolve technical issues.
• Research industry trends and identify new products, technologies and business opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and principals.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in Technical Sales, Application Engineering, Technical Support or Project Engineering preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience in steam-related products systems is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Customer-focused with the ability to translate technical requirements into practical solutions.
• Confident in technical presentations and working with customers and suppliers.
• Proactive, commercially minded and eager to learn.
