Electrical Engineer - VTAL

Our client is a marine and offshore industry . Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Electrical Enginee to be part of their Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West - easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement electrical systems, components, and equipment in accordance with project requirements and specifications.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and preventive maintenance to ensure electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Prepare and maintain technical drawings, electrical schematics, specifications, and project documentation using CAD software.
• Work closely with project teams to provide technical and engineering support throughout project execution.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement timely corrective actions to resolve electrical and system-related issues.
• Ensure all electrical designs, installations, and maintenance activities comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Liaise with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to assess and select suitable electrical components, materials, and systems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline and familiar with Switchboard
• Knowledge of electrical design principles, power distribution, and control systems.
