Job Summary

Join our team as a Field Technician to perform hands-on outdoor work supporting environmental and public health initiatives through mosquito trapping, surveillance, and field releases.

Responsibilities

• Support trapping, surveillance, and species identification to monitor mosquito populations effectively
• Coordinate vehicle logistics by managing maintenance, servicing, and routine checks of transport and release vans
• Execute scheduled field releases of Verily-reared mosquitoes at designated sites to support trial objectives
• Communicate professionally and courteously with residents and communities near mosquito field trial locations
• Perform general field operations and complete ad-hoc tasks to ensure smooth project execution

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Hold a valid (class 3) driving license to assist with vehicle operations and logistics

Work Schedule

• Full-Time Position
• 5-Day Work Week (Monday to Saturday roster, flexibility to work Saturdays required)
• Off on public holidays
• Working Hours: 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM
