SENIOR BIM COORDINATOR (Project BIM Manager)
About this job
About the Role
You will take the BIM Manager seat on assigned building projects across our MOHH (Healthcare), HDB, and other public-sector (GPE) portfolio. You own the project's BIM strategy end-to-end —from BIM Execution Plan through multi-disciplinary coordination to regulatory submission — and lead a team of BIM Coordinators and Modellers to deliver it.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as the project BIM Manager: author and own the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), coordination workflows, and Common Data Environment (CDE)structure.
• Lead multi-disciplinary coordination across Architectural, C&S, and MEP — chair coordination meetings and drive clash detection and resolution to closure.
• Own regulatory BIM deliverables — BCA BIM e-submissions via CORENET X — and ensure compliance with client and authority requirements for MOHH / HDB / GPE projects.
• Enforce ISO 19650 information management: naming conventions, LOD/LOI requirements, and model QA.
• Integrate DfMA / PPVC / precast coordination into the model.
• Manage, mentor, and QA the work of BIM Coordinators and Modellers; assign deliverables and track model health.
• Interface with the project team (PM/site), consultants, and client BIM leads as the single point of accountability for BIM.
• Support construction sequencing (4D where required),quantity extraction, and model-based shop/coordination drawing production for internal and submission.
• Support tender and bid preparation when required — BIM deliverables, model-based visualisations, quantities, and coordination inputs for proposals — and assist with other ad hoc initiatives as needed.
• Liaise with offshore BIM modellers, discipline teams, and site
Requirements
• Degree or Diploma in Civil/Structural, Architecture, M&E Engineering, or Building/Construction-related discipline.
• 6–8+ years of BIM experience on building projects, with proven experience leading BIM on at least one major project.
• Main-contractor experience strongly preferred; MOHH /HDB / GPE project exposure a strong advantage.
• Certification in BIM Management/ BCA Specialist Diploma/ Certification in VDC/IDD
• Digital Delivery Management (DDM) accreditation Tier 2
• Expert in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks (BIM Walkthrough); hands-on with Autodesk Forma/ ACC / BIM 360 (CDE), AutoCAD, etc or equivalent.
• Knowledge with Enscape, 4D Simulation, and Parametric Modeling
• Advantages if strong command of ISO 19650, BCA BIM submission requirements / CORENET X, Model Content Requirement, IDD Implementation and BEP authoring.
• Able to coordinate all disciplines; C&S /structural background preferred (current team gap).
• Strong leadership and client-facing communication —able to run coordination and authority engagements independently.
All disciplines (AR / CS / MEP) are welcome to apply; candidates with a structural background are especially encouraged.
