Job Responsibilities
The Research Assistant will support research in revenue management, market and mechanism design, and learning under strategic behavior.
Duties include the following:
- developing and analyzing mathematical models
- deriving rigorous theoretical results
- implementing algorithms and numerical experiments
- contributing to the writing of research papers.
Required Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in mathematics, economics, computer science, operations research, or a related field.
They should possess the following preferably as well:
- excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- be comfortable with rigorous theoretical work
- have experience with algorithm implementation and numerical analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- attention to detail
- ability to work independently and collaboratively
