Senior Network Security Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a well-established logistics/supply chain organization with a global footprint, looking to strengthen their Information Security team with an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer.

About the Role

You'll take ownership of designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network security infrastructure — helping protect critical business systems and data from evolving cyber threats.

What You'll Do

• Own the network perimeter — writing, auditing, and refining firewall policy
• Manage firewall tuning, IPS, and threat prevention on an ongoing basis
• Configure and maintain secure VPN access
• Strengthen network segmentation and access controls proactively
• Monitor SIEM and IDS/IPS alerts, investigate anomalies, and follow through to resolution
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and hardening cycles, and see remediation through
• Work with cloud, infra, and app teams on secure architecture for new projects
• Maintain clear, audit-ready documentation and internal standards

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of experience in network security or cybersecurity
• Hands-on experience owning and managing enterprise-grade network security environments
• Strong working knowledge of FortiGate or Zscaler
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Clear written and verbal communication, with solid documentation habits
• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field
