We are looking for dedicated and highly-motivated Bahasa Indonesia Language teachers to work full-time at our MOE Language Centre.

If you have a degree and teaching certification in Bahasa Indonesia, in addition to possessing excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching, we welcome you to apply for this position. Applicants should also have the fitness and stamina to deliver lessons, and resilience required to engage students safely and carry out their duties effectively.

Requirements

• A degree in Bahasa Indonesia Language and Literature.

• A Certificate in the Teaching of Bahasa Indonesia as a Foreign Language (e.g. Bachelor/Masters in Education, Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma in Education).

• At least 3 years of relevant experience teaching Bahasa Indonesia as a Foreign Language to non-native speakers.

• Experience teaching in classroom settings at secondary level (13-16 year olds) in public schools and preparing students for the GCE O Levels/GSCE will be an advantage.

• Familiar with setting assessment papers for essay writing, reading and comprehension, and grammar.

• Up-to-date with current best practices, current teaching materials, and current instructional strategies (e.g., effective application of educational technology).

• Good interpersonal skills, communication skills and an excellent team player who works well with students, colleagues and parents.

• Ability to understand and speak English well
