TCM Physician Branch Manager

Job Summary

The TCM Physician Branch Manager is responsible for delivering professional Traditional Chinese Medicine consultations and treatments while overseeing the overall branch operations, team management, and business performance. This role requires a strong balance of clinical expertise, leadership capability, and sales-driven mindset to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and sustainable clinic growth.

Key Responsibilities
1. Clinical Practice (TCM Physician Role)

• Conduct detailed TCM consultations, diagnosis, and treatment planning (e.g., acupuncture, herbal prescriptions, tuina, cupping where applicable)
• Ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered treatment in line with TCM principles and clinic standards
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records
• Provide health education and follow-up care to improve patient recovery and retention

2. Branch Operations Management

• Oversee daily clinic operations to ensure efficiency and smooth patient flow
• Ensure compliance with clinic SOPs, hygiene standards, and regulatory requirements
• Manage clinic resources, inventory (herbs, supplies), and cost control
• Ensure high standards of customer service and patient experience

3. Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, supervise, and mentor clinic staff (front desk, therapists)
• Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and on-the-job training
• Build a strong, disciplined, and service-oriented team culture
• Manage staff scheduling and manpower planning

4. Sales & Business Growth

• Drive branch revenue and achieve monthly sales targets
• Promote clinic services, packages, and treatment plans effectively
• Improve patient conversion, retention, and repeat visit rates
• Identify business growth opportunities and implement sales strategies
• Collaborate with marketing team on campaigns and promotional activities

5. Reporting & Strategy

• Monitor and report branch performance (sales, operations, staffing, patient volume)
• Analyse business trends and propose improvement strategies
• Support management in expansion planning and operational improvements

Requirements

• Registered or qualified TCM Physician Traditional Chinese Medicine or equivalent certification
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience as a TCM Physician
• Minimum 3 years of managerial or supervisory experience in clinic or healthcare setting
• Strong sales ability with proven track record in meeting or exceeding targets
• Good leadership, communication, and people management skills
• Strong clinical knowledge combined with business acumen
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
