Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Senior Associate – Production to support daily production activities, ensure operational efficiency, and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. The successful candidate will coordinate production workflows, monitor output, resolve operational issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and monitor daily production activities according to approved plans and schedules.
- Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are achieved.
- Operate and monitor production equipment, machinery, and systems where required.
- Coordinate with production operators, quality, warehouse, maintenance, and planning teams.
- Review production orders, work instructions, specifications, and relevant documentation.
- Perform in-process inspections and ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Record production output, downtime, defects, material usage, and other operational data.
- Identify production issues and escalate them promptly to the Production Supervisor or Manager.
- Assist in investigating root causes of defects, delays, and equipment problems.
- Support process improvements to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
- Ensure proper handling, labelling, storage, and movement of raw materials and finished goods.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment.
- Follow company policies, standard operating procedures, workplace safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Train and guide junior production associates when required.
- Participate in shift handovers, team meetings, audits, and improvement projects.
- Prepare production reports and other documentation as required.
Requirements
- Diploma or technical qualification in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
- At least 5-8 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or operations.
- Experience in a supervisory, senior operator, or team-lead capacity is preferred.
- Familiarity with production processes, quality control, and workplace safety procedures.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, process specifications, and technical documents.
- Basic knowledge of workplace safety and quality management systems.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and production or inventory-management systems.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Able to work independently and meet production deadlines.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or overtime when required.
