Software Developer / Business Analyst - Manufacturing Systems, Equipment Integration

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyse, and document business, functional, and technical requirements from users and stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into practical system and solution designs.
• Support manufacturing system projects involving equipment integration and automation.
• Work closely with business users, developers, engineers, vendors, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate requirement workshops, process discussions, and solution validation sessions.
• Prepare functional specifications, process flows, use cases, and related project documentation.
• Support system integration, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment, and production support.
• Analyse system and integration issues and coordinate with technical teams on resolution.
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate manufacturing processes.
• Support integration between manufacturing equipment, MES, middleware, and enterprise applications.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in Equipment Integration or Manufacturing Automation is essential.
• Strong experience in user requirement gathering, business analysis, and solution design.
• Technical or software development background is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Programming experience, particularly in C#, will be an advantage.

Knowledge of manufacturing systems, particularly:

• Equipment Integration / Automation
• MES (Manufacturing Execution System)
• Experience with middleware technologies such as TIBCO RV, TIBCO EMS, JMS, or similar messaging technologies will be an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Candidates with a developer or technical background who have transitioned into a Business Analyst or techno-functional role will be preferred. Experience working with manufacturing applications, equipment interfaces, automation, and system integration will be highly relevant.
