IT Support Technician

Join our team as an IT Support Technician. Provide first-level IT support, troubleshoot technical issues, and assist end users.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for end users seeking technical assistance over the phone or email

• Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions

• Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by end users

• Walk the end users through the problem-solving process

• Escalate to Level 2 Technical Support for deployment when necessary

• Provide accurate information on IT products or services

• Record events and problems and their resolution in logs

• Pass on any feedback or suggestions by end users to the appropriate internal team

• Identify and suggest possible improvements in procedures

• Follow-up and update end users’ status and information

• Keep track of all escalation until resolution or closure

• Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Technical Skillset

• Familiar with Windows OS (Windows 10, Windows 11)

• Excellent hardware and software problem-solving skills

• Ability to seek solutions to problems using one’s own resources

• Able to work with a team

Job Requirements

• NITEC or higher in Information Technology.

• Candidates without working experience are encouraged to apply as well.

• The candidate must be able to multi-task and able to work under pressure and manage stress effectively
