SENIOR ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure that products assembled and tested conforms to specifications and are in accordance to the quality standard laid out.
• Performs assembly and test processes according to establish process/test instructions
• Engage in spare parts management, 5S and improvement works
• Ensure that safety standards and safe working practices are adhered to
• To carry out all preventive and breakdown maintenance for all equipment
• Responsible for general electrical fitting work, including installation of electrical equipment, electrical panel, electrical cabling, cable conduits, connecting of cabling, termination etc.
• Ensure safe keeping of hand tools and maintain good house keeping
• Ensure all works are carried out safely and/or in accordance with safety procedures
• Provide technical advice and assistance on all maintenance functions.
• Installation, maintenance, and repair expert electric codes
• Any other tasks, when required by the immediate superior

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/NiTEC in Engineering / Diploma in engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• Possess knowledge in PLC, AC/DC, frequency drives and basic control systems.
• Possess knowledge in Electrical wiring assembly, installations and Termination of DB box, conduit pipe, PVC Casing, installation, repair, and maintainance of switchboards, wiring, and circuits
• Willing to work in dirty and outdoor environment
• Willing to learn and positive work attitude
• Good communication with team work spirit
• Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour
