Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend and backend applications, APIs and digital products
• Build secure data processing and ETL pipelines
• Develop and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes/EKS and containerised applications
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or OpenTofu
• Develop automated testing and improve overall software quality
• Support system integration and distributed applications
• Implement security, monitoring and production support practices
• Modernise and enhance existing applications and systems
• Work with different teams to develop reusable engineering solutions

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field
• Hands-on experience in software development
• Experience with one or more of Java, Kotlin, Python, Node.js/TypeScript, Go or C#
• Frontend experience with React, Next.js, Vue or Angular
• Experience with RESTful/GraphQL APIs and SQL databases
• Knowledge of microservices, system integration or ETL
• Experience with Git, automated testing and code reviews
• Familiarity with Docker, AWS and CI/CD
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Good to Have

• Experience with Terraform/OpenTofu, Kubernetes/EKS or event-driven architecture
• Experience with Salesforce, OutSystems, Appian, Pega or Microsoft Dynamics
