Job Summary

You will operate refuse trucks to collect and transport waste safely, support ground crew operations, and ensure compliance with safety and traffic regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned refuse trucks to complete scheduled waste collection routes across designated locations
• Transport waste materials safely to disposal or incineration facilities
• Load, unload, and handle waste containers efficiently while following safety procedures
• Assist ground operations and support crew duties as needed
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and ensure proper maintenance of trucks
• Follow all safety and traffic regulations consistently during operations
• Communicate and coordinate with managers and operations teams to complete assignments effectively

Required competencies and certifications

• Hold a valid Singapore Class 4 driving licence

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Demonstrate 2-3 years of experience in heavy vehicle driving or waste collection operations
• Navigate Singapore roads effectively using GPS technology
• Possess the ability to perform outdoor operational duties including loading and unloading waste materials
• Maintain alertness and focus during extended driving hours
• Hold a WSQ certificate (PI-WM-106E-1) as an advantage
