Experienced Veterinary Technician / Senior Veterinary Nurse Wanted

Job Summary

We seek an experienced Veterinary Technician to provide advanced patient care and mentor junior staff in a medium-sized clinic offering medical and surgical services beyond routine care.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during consultations, medical procedures, surgeries, and reception duties to ensure efficient clinical operations
• Collect blood samples and place intravenous catheters accurately to support diagnostics and treatment plans
• Continuously monitor anaesthesia levels during surgeries to maintain patient safety
• Provide nursing care for hospitalised patients, including monitoring vital signs and administering treatments as prescribed
• Prepare patients and equipment for diagnostic and imaging procedures to ensure accurate results
• Mentor and coach junior veterinary nurses and support staff to enhance their clinical skills and confidence
• Develop advanced clinical skills in dental radiography, dental scaling and polishing as opportunities arise

Required competencies and certifications

• Proven experience as a Veterinary Technician or Senior Veterinary Nurse (Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Singapore)
• Relevant veterinary nursing qualification and any required licensing or certification preferred.
