Full-Stack AI Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end application development across frontend, backend, database, AI and deployment
• Develop scalable applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript and Node.js
• Design and develop secure RESTful APIs and backend services
• Design and manage PostgreSQL databases, schemas and migrations
• Integrate LLMs and Generative AI APIs into applications
• Develop AI features using RAG, structured outputs, tool/function calling and AI agents
• Use AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex or equivalent to improve development productivity
• Review, test and validate AI-generated code before production
• Develop automated tests and troubleshoot application issues
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
• Apply secure development practices covering authentication, authorisation, API security and data protection
• Evaluate emerging AI and software engineering technologies

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field
• Strong hands-on experience in Full Stack Development
• Proficient in React, Next.js, TypeScript and Node.js
• Strong experience with REST APIs and PostgreSQL
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD and AWS
• Practical experience using AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code or OpenAI Codex
• Experience integrating LLMs / Generative AI APIs is highly preferred
• Knowledge of RAG, AI agents, vector search or tool/function calling is an advantage
• Familiarity with Docker, Infrastructure as Code and observability is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to develop, test and deploy applications independently
