Quantity Surveyor cum Project Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender submission, handle progress claims, variation orders and finalize project accounts.
• Administration of tenders - prepare quotation, tender and contract documents including bill of quantities, cost estimation, cost control and budgeting.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure that all client requirements are met to prepare project handover documents
• Evaluate and negotiate tenders from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure optimal terms.
• Coordinate ID works on site
• Assist the Project team in all aspect of project management such as project progress, monitoring, site supervision, checking of materials and workmanship, control of general workers
• To carry out coordination and liaisons with all relevant parties
• Support the Project manager to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, meet all safety standards and are of highest quality.
• Responsible for monitoring the daily process and progress at the project site
• Conduct project site inspection.
• Any ad hoc duties assigned

Required skills and qualifications

• Relevant working experience in Construction / Interior Design fit-out work
• Proven success in a corporate setting, working with all levels of management
• Able to work under pressure
• 'O' Level (or equivalent) and above in relevant field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Must be able to speak and write in English and Mandarin fluently. (To liaise with mandarin speaking)
