Job Scope:

The School Transport Operation Executive is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of student transportation services. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and timely transport of students between school and home, while maintaining high standards of service and compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Operations Management:
    Plan and schedule transportation routes and timetables.
    Coordinate and monitor daily bus operations to ensure punctuality and safety.
    Handle last-minute route adjustments due to absences, road closures, or emergencies.
  • Driver & Fleet Coordination:
    Liaise with bus drivers and transport vendors for smooth operations.
    Ensure all drivers follow safety protocols and have up-to-date licenses and permits.
    Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules and cleanliness of transport fleet.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    Conduct regular safety audits and emergency drills.
    Ensure full compliance with school policies, local transport regulations, and insurance requirements.
    Address and resolve any safety concerns or incidents reported.
  • Communication & Customer Service:
    Act as the point of contact for parents, school staff, and transport partners.
    Respond promptly to inquiries, complaints, and feedback from stakeholders.
    Provide timely updates on delays, incidents, or changes in transport arrangements.
  • Administrative Duties:
    Maintain accurate records of routes, student ridership, attendance, and incidents.
    Prepare reports and assist in budgeting for transport operations.
    Support procurement and renewal of contracts with transport vendors.

Working Hours:

  • Long and irregular hours are expected.
  • Required to be on-call during early mornings (before school starts), afternoons, and evenings.
  • May involve weekend or holiday support during school events or special trips.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in transport operations or logistics, preferably in a school or education environment.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of GPS tracking systems and transport management software is an advantage.
  • Stay in the West area
