WSH Coordinator (Contract Basis)

Contract Duration: 4 months
Location: West Region
Working Hours: 5.5-Day work week. 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, 8am - 12pm Saturday.
Start Date: Within short notice

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of WSH management systems in compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
• Identify workplace hazards, propose corrective actions, and ensure timely implementation of control measures.
• Facilitate toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety documentation such as RA, incident reports, inspection records, and safety training logs.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and authorities on all safety matters.
• Monitor site activities to ensure ongoing compliance and enforce safe work procedures.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure readiness at all times.

Requirements:

• WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) is mandatory.
• Attended WSH Coordinator Refresher Training Course (Within 2-years validity)
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a WSH Coordinator role.
• Solid knowledge of Risk Assessment (RA) principles and practical application.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must demonstrate punctuality, good attendance, and a strong commitment to the agreed contractual working hours. Applicants who are unable to fully commit to the stated working hours due to other obligations are advised not to apply.
