Job Summary:
Our client is looking for a strategic and project-oriented professional to join us and support business development and key initiatives. You will work closely with management to understand business priorities, evaluate opportunities, develop practical recommendations and drive key initiatives from strategy through execution. The role covers both business development and internal strategic projects, including international market opportunities, strategic partnerships, business planning and cross-functional and organizational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive strategic business development by analyzing markets, industries and business opportunities to identify growth opportunities, potential partnerships, M&A and other strategic initiatives, while developing insights and recommendations to support management decision-making.
- Manage strategic projects from planning through execution by translating business priorities into actionable plans and key initiatives, defining project objectives and milestones, coordinating stakeholders, and addressing risks and challenges.
- Lead internal business and organizational initiatives focused on process improvement, business effectiveness and organizational development, while advancing key management priorities.
- Coordinate stakeholders and resources, and prepare business analysis, project updates and management presentations for business reviews and decision-making.
- Undertake other strategic initiatives and projects as required by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Management, or a related field. MBA is an advantage
- 5 years of experience in strategy, consulting, business development, project management or related fields, preferably in FMCG, manufacturing or international business
- PMP certification is highly preferred, with strong hands-on project management experience in planning and execution
- Strategic and analytical mindset; able to turn complex issues and ideas into actionable plans
- Effective stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills across functions and with senior stakeholders
- Self-driven and results-oriented, with the ability to identify opportunities, take ownership and drive initiatives forward independently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel overseas as required
