Pre-Sales Consultant

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work on sales opportunities assigned from the sales team
• Work closely with prospective customer’s stakeholders on requirement gathering, clarifying / scoping any unclear or ambiguous areas, and recommend possible solutions to address the requirements
• Build and size out outsourcing solutions based on customer requirements, aligned with delivery team capabilities
• Manage internal process from bid qualification recommendations, internal coordination and obtaining quotations from product partners / distributors
• Providing timely updates to internal stakeholders on progress on tender and proposal submissions
• Support business development team to work on new product & services portfolio

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS:

• Able to prepare logical & precise clarification questions to scope and size the opportunities accurately
• Able to participate as an active member in meetings or calls to clarify unclear requirements with customer
• Able to produce quality costings, solutions, and proposals
• Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards
• Complete required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame
• Automate/improve processes for higher efficiency and accuracy
• Able to work under pressure to meet assigned timeline for tender submissions and with quality proposed solutions

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in IT or Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of sales or sales engineering experience in a business-to-business, large/strategic customer segment; or
• Experience in outsourcing account management (Managed Services); and/or
• Minimum three years of Infrastructure support (e.g. Wintel, Unix, Network…etc.) experience; and/or
• Minimum five years of End User Support (e.g. Onsite, W2W, Projects, Helpdesk…etc.) experiences
• Candidate with tender handling experiences will be added advantage
• Product qualification or IT service management certification (e.g. ITIL, PMP or Prince) will be an added advantage
• PC proficiency and good working knowledge of office suite (Word / Excel / PowerPoint)

Working Days/ Hours: Mon - Fri, 9am to 6pm
