Key Responsibilities
Sales & Financial Management
- Sales Performance: Monitor and drive restaurant sales to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgeting, cost control, ensuring profit margins are maintained.
- Inventory Control: Manage stock levels and supplier relationships to optimise cost and minimise wastage.
Staff Management
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team of restaurant staff, ensuring high morale and productivity.
- Staff Scheduling: Oversee staff scheduling and ensure adequate manpower during peak hours, balancing labor costs and operational needs.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and address any staff issues or disciplinary matters.
Operations & Controls
- Quality Control: Maintain consistent quality standards across all aspects of food service, from kitchen preparation to front-of-house service
- Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations in accordance with Singapore's regulatory standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all restaurant equipment is properly maintained and that any repairs are completed in a timely manner.
Customer Service
- Customer Experience: Ensure a top-notch dining experience for customers by maintaining high standards of service throughout.
- Feedback Implementation: Actively seek and respond to customer feedback, using it to make improvements in operations and service quality.
- Issue Resolution: Handle customer complaints or issues professionally, working to resolve them swiftly.
Job Requirements
- Commit 48-hour 5 day work week
- Comfortable with working on public holidays and weekends when necessary
- At least 3 years of experience within the F&B FOH sector would be highly advantageous
