Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack)

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Senior Software Engineer to design, build and continuously improve modern digital products and platforms.

You will work in a multidisciplinary product environment alongside Product Managers, Designers, Engineers and other stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable and user-centric applications. This role is ideal for an engineer who combines strong full-stack development capabilities with a product mindset and enjoys taking ownership from solution design through development, deployment and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain modern full-stack web applications.
• Develop responsive and accessible user experiences using React and TypeScript.
• Build scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js, Go or equivalent modern technologies.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs, enterprise services and shared platforms.
• Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Take ownership across the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to translate product requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Evaluate technical feasibility, architecture options and implementation trade-offs.
• Develop reusable components, APIs, integrations and shared services.
• Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and deployment processes.
• Build and operate applications using Docker, Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
• Apply software engineering best practices across security, reliability, scalability, performance and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable fixes.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks and architecture decisions.
• Use modern development and AI-assisted engineering tools responsibly to improve engineering productivity and quality.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to engineering standards and mentor less-experienced engineers where required.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of hands-on software engineering experience, preferably developing production-grade web applications.
• Strong experience with TypeScript, React and modern JavaScript development.
• Hands-on backend development experience using Node.js, Go/Golang or equivalent technologies.
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL or other relational databases.
• Hands-on exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Good understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, Git and modern software delivery practices.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, security, code quality, reliability and maintainability.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting production applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within Agile, cross-functional product teams.
• Strong product mindset with an interest in creating meaningful digital experiences for users.

Good to Have

• Hands-on Go/Golang development experience.
• Experience developing internal enterprise platforms, learning platforms, community platforms or developer platforms.
• Experience with authentication, identity management and enterprise integrations.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience.
• Observability and monitoring experience using modern tooling.
• Platform engineering or developer experience (DevEx) exposure.
• Experience with AI-assisted software development tools.
• Experience working on large-scale digital platforms or public-sector technology initiatives.
