LORRY ATTENDANT

Job Responsibilities

• Loading and Unloading: Lift, carry, and arrange goods on and off the lorry.
• Safety and Navigation: Guide the driver during reversing, parking, and tight maneuvers by checking blind spots.
• Cargo Verification: Check items against delivery orders, invoices, or manifests and collect recipient signatures.
• Warehouse Duties: Help with basic sorting, packing, and general housekeeping in the warehouse area.

Key Requirements

• Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for long hours and lift heavy items or cargo as required by the trade.
• Communication: Simple speaking and writing skills to talk with customers and verify documents.
• Work Ethic: Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious.
• prior logistics or warehouse experience is a plus.
