Aboutthe role

We are looking for a Regional IT Manager for South East Asia & Oceania to lead Digital Workplace services across the region. In this role, you will head the Regional Digital Workplace function, leading up to five employees across Singapore, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, and Melbourne, and report to the Global Head of Digital Workplace.

This role combines regional leadership, service delivery accountability, and business relationship management. The Regional IT Manager for South East Asia &Oceania will ensure stable and high-quality IT service delivery across the region, coordinate regional priorities with global GSS IT initiatives, develop the local team, and support business needs through strong stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement.

Areas of responsibility and key tasks:

  • Lead the regional Digital Workplace organization and ensure effective use of resources across the South East Asia & Oceania region
  • Manage regional End User Services, including Deskside Support and coordination with Global Service Desk functions
  • Ensure services are delivered with high quality, strong responsiveness, and in line with agreed global and local SLAs
  • Oversee day-to-day operations related to intranet, collaboration sites, and internet services, with focus on cost efficiency and user experience
  • Collaborate with Cloud Infrastructure teams on regional VerIT infrastructure services and related operational requirements
  • Lead and coordinate regional IT activities related to M&A, with focus on due diligence, integration planning, policy alignment, data transfer, and employee transition support
  • Act as Business Relationship Manager for the region, representing GSS IT and building strong relationships with business stakeholders
  • Support the GSS Regional Support Coordinator in delivering "One GSS" initiatives across the region
  • Ensure procurement services are delivered according to global SLAs and local business needs
  • Act as the GSS IT contact point for local and regional IT requirements, including compliance matters
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and drive continuous improvement based on feedback, service performance, and identified gaps
  • Lead, develop, and manage regional End User resources, including budget preparation, cost control, P&L follow-up, goal setting, coaching, performance management, and MIP dialogues

Position Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of regional IT service delivery, stakeholder coordination, and modern workplace technologies, including Microsoft 365 and AI-enabled tools
  • Knowledge of data protection, security, compliance, and responsible technology adoption
  • Solid understanding of complex IT services and their business impact
  • Experience with service quality, SLA compliance, reporting, cost control, and continuous improvement
  • Experience leading, coaching, or developing distributed teams is an advantage
  • Experience of minimum 10 years of managing IT operations and service delivery across multiple countries and cultures
  • Experience working within DNV or a comparable global matrix organization with established governance, service management and stakeholder management processes is strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of DNV's operating model, Digital Workplace services, governance framework and internal stakeholder landscape is considered a significant advantage
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating across global shared service organizations and balancing regional and global priorities
  • Experience supporting organizational change, acquisitions, integrations, or large-scale transformation initiatives is advantageous
  • Ability to assume operational leadership responsibilities with limited onboarding time
