Field Service Engineer (Semiconductor)

Job Summary & Responsibilities

• Responsible for installation, repair, and maintenance of Onto Innovation products, including Inspection/lithography/metrology tools.

• Respond to down-tool situations and provide scheduled maintenance within the SEA region.

• Support any required aspect of field operations, including system hardware, software, PCs, networking, and related technologies.

• Submit required service documentation and provide technical feedback to the US factory.

• Act as the primary technical and administrative liaison with customers for assigned projects.

• Provide feedback to the Sales team, identifying potential leads and customer needs.

• Support continuous product improvement through service feedback and issue reporting.
  

  Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of Field Service experience in the semiconductor industry preferred.

  • Hands-on experience with equipment fault detection, including electrical, mechanical, and software troubleshooting.

  • Possess NEA laser license Class 3A

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering or related fields.

  • Ability to work independently while being effective within a team structure.

  • Have hands-on stepper experience on Nikon, Canon or ASML is preferred.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
