Position: M&E Coordinator

Job Description:

• Coordinate and manage M&E works on site to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, project schedule, and quality standards.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams for M&E work coordination.

• Review M&E drawings, shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, and other related project documents.

• Coordinate M&E works with architectural, structural, and other trades to resolve discrepancies and site issues.

• Assist in preparing and submitting RFAs, material submissions, shop drawings, progress reports, site records, and other required documents.

• Attend site meetings, technical meetings, and coordination meetings, and follow up on comments, instructions, and outstanding matters.

• Monitor subcontractors’ work progress and ensure works are completed on time and in accordance with project requirements.

• Check site installation works and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.

• Assist in identifying drawing discrepancies, site constraints, and coordination issues, and propose practical solutions.

• Coordinate testing and commissioning works, inspections, and handover documentation where required.

• Ensure all M&E works comply with workplace safety and health requirements and project specifications.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Manager or management.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in M&E coordination or construction site coordination is preferred.

• Able to read and understand M&E drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and construction details.

• Familiar with Singapore construction site practices and M&E installation works.

• Knowledge of ACMV, electrical, plumbing, sanitary, fire protection, and other building services will be an advantage.

• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced site environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage.

• Good team player with a responsible working attitude.

• Able to coordinate with different trades and follow up on site issues effectively.

• Able to start work within short notice will be an advantage.
