Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage production scheduling and optimise plating process parameters.

• Troubleshoot process, material and quality issues; identify root causes and implement solutions.

• Drive process improvements to increase productivity, yield and quality while reducing cycle time and costs.

• Develop and maintain work instructions, process methods, drawings and BOMs.

• Implement productivity initiatives, including process automation, tooling and fixture improvements.

• Conduct equipment operation and maintenance training.

• Drive continuous improvement to meet manufacturing and quality objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum 5 years’ relevant manufacturing experience, preferably with chemical handling.

• Experience in electroplating; Silver Spot plating exposure is an advantage.

• Knowledge of statistical methods, IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 is an advantage.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to interpret AutoCAD drawings.

• Systematic, self-motivated and able to work independently.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
