Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and completion of statutory financial statement audits, special-purpose audits, and grant audits in compliance with SSAs.

  • Manage and mentor senior audit associates; review audit working papers for technical quality, compliance, and proper documentation in line with local regulatory standards.

  • Review and approve audit working papers, management letters, and audit reports before Partner review.

  • Assist Partners in managing client portfolios, resource planning, engagement scheduling, and business development initiatives.

  • Monitor changes in accounting, auditing, and regulatory standards and ensure audit methodologies remain current.

  • Oversee project budgeting, resource planning

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, resolving complex accounting issues, and communicating audit findings to business owners and management.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education & Professional Certifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

    • Chartered Accountant qualification (CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA Australia, or equivalent) preferred.

  • Work Experience:

    • Minimum 6–8 years of relevant external audit experience.

    • At least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

    • Proven track record of managing multiple audit engagements simultaneously.

  • Technical Knowledge & Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSA), Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), the Companies Act, and local regulatory requirements.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and professional audit software (e.g., Caseware, AuditCommand).

  • Soft Skills & Leadership:

    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.

    • Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills.

Note: Salary and final job designation will be commensurate with total relevant audit experience and qualifications.
