Steel System Installer

You will be involved in the delivery and installation of shelving and storage systems at residential and commercial customer locations across Singapore.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver and transport shelving materials and equipment to customer sites.
• Assemble and install shelving, racks, wardrobes and other storage systems.
• Dismantle existing shelving systems when required.
• Read basic measurements and installation drawings.
• Use hand tools and power tools for installation works.
• Ensure all shelving systems are properly installed, aligned and secured.
• Check materials and components before and during installation.
• Keep the work area clean and tidy after installation.
• Take care of customer property during installation.
• Communicate professionally with customers at job sites.
• Report any missing materials, damaged components or site issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain and take care of company tools, equipment and vehicles.
• Assist with loading, unloading, warehouse and other operational duties when required.

Job Requirements

• Valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence is required.
• Previous experience in shelving, racking, carpentry, renovation, furniture assembly, warehouse or installation work is preferred.
• Hands-on and comfortable using basic hand tools and power tools.
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry shelving materials.
• Able to work at different customer locations across Singapore.
• Responsible, punctual and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good workmanship and attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends or public holidays when required.

Working Hours

Monday – Saturday : 8.30-5.30pm
Working hours may vary depending on installation schedules.
