Hourly rate: $10–$13 per hour (depending on experience & shift)

Role summary

Keep our curry puffs hot and customers happy. You’ll deep-fry frozen curry puffs to standard, keep the warmer stocked, take and serve orders, and handle basic stall housekeeping. No food preparation required. Training provided; experience is a bonus but not necessary.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate the deep fryer; follow timing/quality standards
• Transfer products to warmer; rotate stock and maintain display
• Take orders, serve customers, manage queues politely
• Basic cashiering/POS and cash handling
• Maintain stall cleanliness; opening/closing cleaning and simple dishwashing
• Follow food safety & hygiene SOPs; basic temperature/hygiene checks

Requirements (must-have)

• Valid WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 (Food Hygiene) certificate (pre-requirement)
• Able to stand for extended periods and work in a warm kitchen environment
• Comfortable handling hot oil and using basic kitchen equipment safely
• Able to work at least 3 shifts per week, including one weekend or public holiday shift
• Basic spoken English and Chinese for safety/hygiene logs and customer service
• Punctual, reliable, clean and tidy work habits

Good to have

• Hawker/F&B or fryer experience
• Familiarity with simple POS/cash handling

Shifts & scheduling

• Typical shift options: [8.00am–2.00pm], [11:00am–3.00pm], [3:00pm–8:00pm] (includes short unpaid break)
• Additional hours may be offered based on stall needs
