Environmental Control Officer (ECO)

Primary Responsibility: Coordination and implementation of environmental control measures on the HDB project site.

Job Scope:

•  Implement environmental control measures in accordance with project and statutory requirements.

•  Conduct regular site inspections to monitor environmental conditions.

•  Monitor dust, noise, water discharge, waste management and other environmental aspects.

•  Ensure proper handling, storage and disposal of construction waste.

•  Monitor compliance with NEA, HDB and other relevant environmental requirements.

•  Coordinate environmental control measures with site supervisors, subcontractors and workers.

•  Identify environmental issues and follow up on corrective actions.

•  Maintain environmental inspection records, reports and relevant documentation.

•  Assist in responding to environmental complaints and carry out necessary follow-up actions.

•  Promote good environmental practices and awareness among workers on-site.

Requirements:

•  Possess a valid Environmental Control Officer (ECO) certification.

•  Relevant experience in construction projects in Singapore.

•  HDB project experience is preferred.
