Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be an integral part of a high-growth CDMO navigating a pivotal stage of its corporate journey. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced leadership and external advisors across a broad range of legal, governance, and regulatory matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the company and external legal counsel; translate legal advice into clear, actionable internal recommendations for senior management

  • Review and manage corporate legal documents including contracts, board resolutions, corporate filings, and counterparty agreements; maintain a centralized and up-to-date legal document repository

  • Track legal deadlines, action items, and follow-ups across concurrent matters, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks

  • Coordinate with the external corporate secretarial firm and law firms on statutory filings, compliance matters, and ad hoc requests

  • Assist in contract lifecycle management, including tracking contracts, maintaining contract databases, coordinating internal approvals and signatures, ensuring proper document retention practices

  • Support implementation and optimization of tech solutions and digitalization initiatives

  • General ad hoc tasks as and when required by the department

Requiring Skills and Key Competencies:

  • Able to synthesize complex legal advice into concise, actionable internal memos and recommendations

  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail; able to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines simultaneously without close supervision

  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving startup environment with ambiguous and evolving priorities

  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with external legal advisors, internal business stakeholders, and senior management

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience, ideally from a reputable Singapore law firm or from the legal / company secretarial function of an SGX-listed company

  • Solid grounding in Singapore corporate law, Companies Act requirements, and/or company secretarial practice

  • Familiarity with listing rules and continuing listing obligations is a strong advantage

  • Exposure to capital markets, IPO processes, or securities compliance is highly desirable
