Senior QS/QS

Responsibilities

• Responsible for tender quantity take off and cost estimations.
• Responsible for coordinating with clients QS and contract department to ensure completeness of drawings, description of scope of works, specifications and details for accuracy of quantity and cost estimation.
• Responsible to visit site for better understanding of site conditions for cost estimation including earth quality, site constraint, services, and others.
• Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our standard costing template.
• Responsible in supporting PM/SPM and project team to manage the respective contract.
• Responsible for the cost planning and control of project cost budget.
• Responsible for keeping track of all variation orders including proofs and cost claim submission.
• Responsible for monthly claim, certification and payment including variation orders and site visit for measurement and verification with main contractor QS.
• Responsible for all contract cost management and timely completion of project final accounts.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in civil engineering/quantity surveying
• Minimum 3 years of related experience in civil engineering environment
• Extensive knowledge of building contracts/clauses, SIA, FIDIC, NEC, etc.
• Computer literacy with knowledge of BlueBeam and AutoCAD
• Strong communication skills
