Operation Staff/Personal Trainer (Hybrid): Anytime Fitness (West)

The Role

We’re looking for a service-driven, proactive individual to join our Anytime
Fitness team in a hybrid capacity – managing daily gym operations while building a personal training client base over time.

This role starts operations-heavy to help you learn club culture and member needs, then transitions toward training-focused once you’re competent and have built steady PT client pool.

Progressive Role Split

Phase

First 1–3 months (onboarding & competence building)
Operations - 80%

• Brand Ambassador role
• Backend administration
• Frontend customer service excellence

Personal Training - 20%

• Fitness assessment and consultation
• Lead generation and Sales closure

After assessment & client base built

Operations - 30%

• Support role with mandatory gym operations

Personal Training - 70%

• Support role with mandatory gym operations
• Full fledge client servicing
• Sales focused

Daily gym facilitation remains important even in the later stage.

Key Responsibilities
Gym Operations (higher weight initially)

• Ensure daily club cleanliness, safety checks, and equipment maintenance
• Handle member check-ins, onboarding, and basic admin
• Support community engagement and club events
• Contribute to member retention and satisfaction
• Assist with marketing content for promotional use (optional but valued)

Personal Training (grows over time)

• Conduct fitness assessments and provide customized training plans
• Deliver 1-on-1 and small group sessions
• Motivate, educate, and inspire members to reach their goals
• Track client progress and ensure safety during workouts
• Actively build your PT client base through floor time and member interactions.

Incentives (discussed in person)

We offer multiple incentives on top of base salary, including but not limited to:

• PT package sales commission
• PT conduction hours
• Group class conduction hours
• New join member commission
• Exact rates and structure will be shared during face-to-face interview as according to experience and performance.

What We’re Looking For

• Friendly, reliable, and self-motivated team player
• Certified Personal Trainer (ACE, NASM, ISSA, or equivalent)
• First Aid / CPR certified (or willing to obtain)
• Comfortable with both operations work and engaging members in conversations about training.
• Prior experience in gym ops or fitness coaching preferred
• Must be able to commit to shifts (including some weekends/evenings)
• Deployment ready (able to move around to other outlets as requested)
