Maintenance Technician / AV & Lighting Technician

We are a KTV / live entertainment venue currently hiring technical personnel to support our daily operations and ensure that all equipment and facilities operate smoothly and reliably.

Work details-
Location: Far East Square (Near Telok Ayer / Chinatown MRT)
Working arrangement: 6 days workweek, 10 hours work shift (include 1 hour break)
PM Shift 5pm to 3am(with1 hour break)

Must be able to accept working on weekends, eve of PH and PH.

Must be able to accept working in a lively, and non halal environment.

Position 1: General Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities

1. Conduct daily inspections and troubleshooting of electrical and low-voltage systems, including tripped circuits, electrical leakage, damaged wiring, and lighting faults.
2. Carry out plumbing repairs, including toilets, taps, pipes, floor traps, and minor water pump issues.
3. Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting for central air-conditioning, fresh air, and ventilation/exhaust systems, including filter cleaning.
4. Maintain and repair general facilities such as doors, windows, locks, hardware fittings, furniture, glass, and wall surfaces.
5. Respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues during operating hours to minimise disruption to guests. Maintain proper maintenance records and manage commonly used spare parts.
6. Assist with fire safety equipment inspections and ensure compliance with electrical safety requirements. Support minor renovation works and equipment dismantling or relocation when required.

Requirements

1. Physically fit and able to work night shifts, rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
2. Must possess a valid electrician/electrical work certification. Certification must be valid and verifiable.
3. Minimum 1 year of electrician experience and minimum 1 year of general maintenance experience. Able to read and understand basic electrical diagrams.
4. Familiar with common plumbing, electrical and air-conditioning faults. Basic carpentry, sealing/gluing, dismantling and installation skills will be an advantage.
5. Responsible, reliable and willing to follow work schedules and management arrangements.
6. Strong safety awareness. Must comply with safety requirements for working at height, behave professionally in guest areas, and respond quickly to emergencies.
