Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team in a Serviced Apartment. This role ensures that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities consistently meet the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and comfort. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership with operational expertise, delivering an immaculate environment that reflects the hotel’s luxury positioning.

🛎 Duties & Responsibilities

Operational Excellence

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including room cleaning, public area maintenance, and laundry services.

• Ensure all guest rooms and facilities meet 5-star standards of hygiene, presentation, and comfort.

• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas, addressing deficiencies promptly.

• Manage inventory of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies, ensuring cost-effective usage.

Team Leadership & Training

• Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to deliver consistent, high-quality service.

• Develop and implement training programs on cleaning techniques, safety, and guest service.

• Conduct performance reviews and establish improvement plans where necessary.

• Foster a positive, collaborative, and guest-focused team culture.

Guest Experience & Service

• Respond promptly to guest requests and special requirements (e.g., VIP setups, turn-down service).

• Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure seamless room readiness and upkeep.

• Handle guest feedback and complaints with professionalism, ensuring swift resolution.

Administration & Compliance

• Prepare duty rosters, manage scheduling, and monitor staff attendance.

• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

• Monitor housekeeping budgets, labor costs, and outsourcing contracts.

• Generate reports on room status, productivity, and guest satisfaction metrics.

✅ Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of housekeeping experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to luxury service standards.

• Knowledge of housekeeping systems and inventory management.

• Ability to manage budgets and optimize operational efficiency.
