Senior Execution Engineer

ExodusPoint Capital, founded in 2017 by Michael Gelband and Hyung Lee, began managing investor capital in 2018. The firm employs a global multi-strategy investment approach, seeking to deliver compelling asymmetric returns by combining complementary liquid strategies managed by experienced investment professionals within a robust risk framework. ExodusPoint brings together an accomplished team with hands-on experience running multi-manager businesses to create an institutional investment management firm.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Execution Engineer to join the Systematic Trading Development team in our Singapore office to help drive the technology behind our system. This person will be joining a collaborative, global team that works within a fast-paced environment in order to build some of the most efficient trading platforms globally.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other technology teams to formulate innovative solutions for trading
• Development of systematic trading tools
• Alpha signal research and back testing
• Creation of libraries for data loading and back testing

Experience:

• Over 10 years of experience (preferably within financial / hedge fund environment)
• Strong understanding of Java core and SQL
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments
• Experience working with coding real-time applications
• Experience working with full CI/CD (GIT, Maven and Docker)
• Use of commercial market data sets (IBES, FactSet, Markit, Bloomberg)
• Use of alternative equity data, linear algebra and statistics

Skills:

• Strong object-oriented design and coding skills
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Result-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly demanding environment
• Good communication skills to collaborate both within and across teams

Qualifications:

• MSc or PhD level leading university in a Computer Science field (or related quantitative field in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or Physics)
