Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, commercially astute finance leader to head our Group Finance team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will oversee group-level financial operations, strategy, compliance, and team leadership across our entities. The successful candidate will drive strong corporate governance, streamline financial processes, and serve as a key strategic partner to executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

1. Group Financial Oversight & Operations

  • Financial Reporting & Consolidation: Review and sign off on monthly, quarterly, and annual multi-entity group consolidations.
  • Technical Accounting & Compliance: Set and maintain group accounting policies in accordance with SFRS(I)/IFRS. Provide oversight for statutory filings (ACRA), corporate tax, GST, and transfer pricing compliance.
  • Audit & Controls: Direct external and internal audit processes. Design, implement, and maintain robust internal control frameworks and financial policies across the Group.

2. Financial Planning & Business Performance(FP&A)

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting, rolling forecast, and long-term financial modeling processes.
  • Commercial Partnering: Partner with business heads to analyze segment performance, unit economics, and operational metrics.
  • Executive Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive management reporting packs, board papers, and strategic insights for executive leadership and the Board.

3. Team Leadership & Governance

  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting department, including direct management of the Senior Finance Manager and broader accounts team.
  • Board & Risk Oversight: Act as the primary finance liaison to the Board and Audit Committee, ensuring timely reporting and resolution of risk items.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent.
  • Professional Certification: CA (Singapore), CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive accounting and corporate finance experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or group finance capacity.
  • Preferred: Financial control experience within a listed company, or prior involvement in an IPO/RTO process.

  • Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of SFRS(I)/IFRS standards, corporate tax regulations, ACRA compliance, and multi-entity group consolidation.
  • Leadership & Soft Skills: Strong team management capability, strategic thinking, excellent communication, and the ability to present complex financial data clearly to executive stakeholders.
