SAP Senior FICO Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking to hire a SAP Senior FICO Consultant to join Fuji SMBE. Our company is onboarding SAP S/4 Hana as a greenfield project as we migrate from our legacy system.

Responsibilities

• Own FI/CO design and configuration standards: GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Controlling (CostCentre, Profit Centre, Internal Orders, CO-IO), and Product Costing workingjointly with Systems Integrator (SI).

• Own CO/PA activation strategy (Account-based vs costing based) and Profit Centre structure design, ensuring alignment with Management Reporting P&L views.

• Critically review SI design proposals for FI/CO alignment with our company’s accounting policies and reporting requirements, escalating discrepancies as needed.

• Support Intercompany accounting design across company codes including subsequent roll-outs to other countries.

• Review design of Product costing (standard cost estimates, cost components) in line with MTO and MTS Manufacturing process.

• Partner with SI – SD/MM/PP/QM consultants to ensure proper end to end solution and accounting entries aligned with company policy and requirements on integration points: cost collector and settlement rules etc.

• Review Blueprint design documentation and functional specification for RICEFW and interfaces for existing legacy systems.

• Conduct workshops with Business ProcessOwners( BPO); translate finance requirements into SAP configuration and process documentation (SOPs, BRDs).

• Support testing cycles (UAT), cutover andpost-go-live hypercare.

• Support Month end closing activities forFinance department.

• Opportunity to lead SAP Group Reporting setup for SAP entities and structured upload design for non-SAP (Phase 2) entities.

Requirements

• At least 6+ years of functional experience in SAP FI/CO with at least 2 full cycles S4 HANA implementation in an IT project implementation/Support. (Private and Publiccloud edition preferred).

• Prior experience working alongside a SI in end user environment.

• Hands on configuration experience across : GL, AP/AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Centre Accounting, CO-PA (account-based and/or costing-based), Product Costing (CO-PC) and CO-IO.

• Experience integrating FI/CO with MM,SD,PP, QM in a manufacturing (ideally MTO or discrete manufacturing) environment.

• Strong understanding of Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and S4 HANA Finance data modelchanges vs. ECC.

• Experience with intercompany accounting and multi-company codes across countries.

• Experience in SAP Group Reporting and/or consolidation tools (willingness to explore and independently leads its implementation.)

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or related field. SAP FI/CO certification(S/4HANA) highly preferred.

• Professional accounting background (CPA/ACCA orequivalent) is a strong plus but not mandatory if SAP depth is strong.
